What is Educational Technology?

          Educational Technology is the application of technology in the educative process that takes place in education institutions. So how can we apply Ed. Tech. 1 in the teaching learning process?

There are 4 phases we consider in the application of Ed. Tech. :

  1.) Setting of learning objectives is where the teacher will identify the specific guidelines that they will use and goals in making the teaching-learning process effective;

 2.) Designing of specific learning experiences is the process where the teacher will choose and evaluate different learning experiences ( Cone of Experience by Edgar Dale) that they will use in the class to make the teaching learning process effective;

  3.) Evaluating the effectiveness of learning experiences is where the teacher will evaluate the process that s/he had used with his/her students, if  they have learned something from it;and

4.) Revising the teaching-learning process for improving future instructional activities is wherein you will make further revisions in the learning experiences you have used in a specific making it into better one so that it will be more effective in the teaching-learning process.

What is the roles of technology in the teaching-learning process and what can it do to help us in improving the education system?
